Transitions In and Out
Spice up the way your objects enter and leave the movie by using transitions. Instead of it just blinking blandly on to the screen, make them fade in, slide in, bounce in and out and more.
In the Design view start by selecting the object you want to edit, either from the timeline or from the canvas where you view your scene. Then click on the first custom tab underneath the timeline, this will open up a menu for transitions that will change the way your object enters the scene. Clicking the second custom tab will allow you to change how your object leaves the scene.
The transitions menu will give you a list of transition options for your object and if you are unsure about the transition, preview a selected transition in your scene by clicking the gray play icon in the bottom right. Adjust the transition speed by clicking on one of the 3 speed settings.
