Creating a Full Motion Recording
Learn to use full motion recording when you need to capture drag and drop, animated GIFs, screen resizing or any other fluid motions to create great eye-catching movies.
At the start-up screen, select Record the screen. The Recording wizard will pop up with a viewer of your screen in a red border. Select the Full Motion Recording icon and click the gears icon to change your movie settings.
The Recording options window will pop up. Select Full motion recording and then choose your frames per second. More frames per second will give you a smoother playback but will also give a larger file size. You can also enable auto-mark, which will place bookmarks on your timeline for easy navigation and for drag and drop demonstrations enable the 'capture semi-transparent windows' option. Click Record to begin creating your movie.
Immediately after you stop recording, the Personalize window will pop up, this will show you editing options for your movie but these options can also be selected in the editing phase; so just click cancel and you will be taken to the Design view where you can edit your new full motion movie.
